Mavambo Coaches is a 100% owned subsidiary of Pioneer Clan Botswana, which itself is a subsidiary of Pioneer Corporation Africa, a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange Listed company which provides Total Transport Solutions and Mavambo Coaches fits in well into the group as it aims to be the leading Passenger Transport Company in Sub Sahara Africa. Mavambo coaches started operating its own fleet of buses in January 2006. So far 8 buses are in the fleet. All the buses are currently plying the cross border route mainly Harare-Johannesburg and Bulawayo-Johannesburg. However the company is looking at putting some super-lux buses on South Africa’s domestic network and also explore other regional routes from Johannesburg to Lusaka, Blantyre and Maputo.
