Patrick Chakanetsa Chingoka, (56), Chairman

Patrick Chingoka was born in Zimbabwe and holds a variety of qualifications in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations. He is currently the Managing Director of Thomas International Management Systems (Private) Limited and High Post Consultants (Private) Limited, having previously held the position of Group Personnel Executive of Apex Corporation Limited. Having sat on the Clan Board since 1998, Patrick is currently the longest standing Director. He is also Chairman of IT Solutions (Private) Limited and his other directorships include Beverly Building Society, Century Bank Limited and Iness Trading (Private) Limited. Patrick is a citizen of and resides in Zimbabwe.

   

Hamish Bryan Wilburn Rudland, (35), Acting CEO

Hamish Rudland was born in Zimbabwe and was educated at Falcon College in Esigodini. He attended Massey University in New Zealand between 1991 and 1994, reading for a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree in Information Systems, Management and Tourism. He returned to Zimbabwe in October 1994 and established Pioneer in 1995. Hamish is a Major Shareholder, Chairman of Clan and currently the Chief Executive Officer of PDC. His other directorships include Holdsworth Investments (Private) Limited. He is a citizen of and resides in Zimbabwe.

   

Beatrice Mtetwa

Born in Swaziland and permanent resident of Zimbabwe. graduated with an LlB Degree from The University Of Botswana And Swaziland In 1981. Worked as a Prosecutor In Swaziland and in Zimbabwe From 1981 To 1989. Went Into Private Practice In February, 1989. Sits On The Boards Of Various Charitable Organizations, Is Current President Of The Law Society Of Zimbabwe, Has Won Three International Awards, Sits On The Boards Of Various Companies Including The Independent and Standard Newspapers, The Mail And Guardian Media Limited. is currently the Senior Partner Of Law Firm Mtetwa & Nyambirai

 
   

Simon George Wilburn Rudland, (37), Non-executive Director

Simon Rudland was born in Zimbabwe and went to school at Falcon College in Esigodini. In 1989, he was accepted into the Delta Training School to study an apprenticeship in diesel mechanics, which course he completed in December 1992. Simon started Spares International (Private) Limited in 1993 to supply vehicle spares to Government departments. In 1995 he joined Hamish Rudland in establishing Pioneer. His other directorships include PDC and Holdsworth Investments (Private) Limited. He is a citizen of and resides in Zimbabwe.

 

Victor R. Gapare

Victor holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Masters in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa. He joined Anglo-American Corporation as a Trainee in their Finance Division in 1987. He held various senior positions within Anglo American Corporation including Company Secretary, Deputy Marketing Manager for Border Timbers Ltd, Marketing Manager for Bindura Nickel Corporation and Zimbabwe Alloys Ltd and General Manager for the New Products Division of Mashonaland Holdings Ltd. In 2000, Victor was appointed to the position of Operations Director for Anglo American's gold and pyrites mines in Zimbabwe, before leading a management buyout of the gold and pyrites mines in 2003. Victor is currently the Chief Executive of GAT Investments (Pvt) Ltd, the holding company for Bilboes Gold Mines and Iron Duke Mine.

 

Albert Ushe, Group Marketing Director and MD Clan Freight

Albert Ushe is 43 years old. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree and a Masters in Business Administration both from the University of Zimbabwe. Albert is also a holder of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma. Albert has 20 years management experience – started his career at Unilever in 1987 as Management Trainee after completing his Bachelor of Business Studies degree in 1986. Albert, has a blend of local, regional and international business experience having worked for reputable companies namely Unilever, Zimsun Hotels and Resorts and Coca-Cola Company (Central Africa Region Marketing Manager). He has worked in the Freight Industry as Commercial Director for the National Cargo Airline and as General Manager Marketing in the Financial Sector. Currently Albert is Managing Director of Pioneer Clan Freight Ltd since November 2006. During spare time, Albert enjoys watching soccer, reading and playing golf.
