Pioneer Coaches, or the “Yebo Yellow” buses as they are known, is the most recognizable company of Pioneer Corporation Africa. It is a well established Zimbabwean company that runs 41 semi-luxury and luxury coaches and offers both scheduled routes locally and regionally, in addition to private hire.

Through several exciting new developments, Pioneer Coaches is set to explore new domestic markets in the region namely South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia in the next 5 years.

SERVICES

City to City

Our comprehensive Inter-city network covers all the major cities in Zimbabwe. We now carry more than 200,000 local passengers annually over a total distance of 1.5 million kilometres in safety and comfort.

Regional Routes
We offer cross-border services and shopping trips regionally to Johannesburg, Musina and Lusaka. As an added service trailers are available for large luggage space requirements.

Private Hire
Pioneer Coaches offers this service to cater for group travel to various destinations within Zimbabwe and outside our borders. We cater for corporate travel, church groups, school trips and family travel.

Safety first
The safety of our passengers is number one our list of priorities and we have implemented strict measures to ensure it. All our vehicles are regularly checked before and after each journey and are carefully maintained.
There is a rigorous recruitment policy in place for drivers so that only the most careful drivers with the best track record join the Pioneer team. We also prescribe adequate rest periods on long journeys to ensure drivers remain alert and competent behind the wheel.
